Inspired by arena rock bands such as Stryper, Poison, Ratt, Journey, Triumph, Boston, Aerosmith, Whitesnake, Led Zepplin, Slaughter, the Red Wolves quickly became one of America’s most celebrated rock bands.
For twelve unforgettable years, they filled arenas across the country with songs about hope, family, perseverance, and chasing dreams.
About James
James believed music had the power to heal people. A natural philosopher, he was known for asking questions that made people think rather than simply giving answers. He inherited his love of music from both of his parents.
His father, Don, was an accomplished guitarist who introduced James to the great arena rock bands of the 1970s and 1980s.
His mother, Louise, possessed a beautiful singing voice that James often described as “a voice from Heaven.”
The family shared a strong Christian faith that shaped James’s outlook on life, compassion, forgiveness, and hope. Those values became the heartbeat of many Red Wolves songs, including Dream On, Hold On, Ride the Fantasy, and The Golden Cage.
“Fame fades. Fortune changes. But the songs you leave in someone’s heart will outlive you.”
