Education

🎓 Education

Anthony DeVries received a well-rounded education with a particular interest in engineering, technology, and music. From an early age, he was fascinated by how things worked and had a natural talent for taking things apart, figuring them out, and putting them back together. Music became another major part of his education. Anthony gravitated toward subjects that allowed him to build, create, experiment, and solve problems. His interests eventually developed into a combination of music, invention, and hands-on mechanical knowledge.

FAMILY

Anthony grew up carrying a loss he never had the chance to understand. His mother died giving birth to him. His father, unable to cope with the loss of his wife, turned his grief and anger toward Anthony and blamed his son for her death. As Anthony grew older, his father's drinking and abusive behavior became an unavoidable part of his childhood.
